We got to the Grand Canyon at night and had to take Tori's word for it when she pointed out of the right side of the vehicle and said, "There's a big hole right there." The next we saw it. Briefly. Then it snowed. Then we saw it again.

Album: Last Part - Flagstaff
To ring in the new year, we popped over to Flagstaff and the historic Weatherford Hotel where the highlight is the midnight dropping of a giant, gold pinecone. I am not making that up. They drop a big, gold pinecone. Twice, actually.
